A family-friendly bike trail from Bright to Harrietville has opened extending the Murray to Mountains rail trail and we were keen to test it out with our family - dog included- to see just how friendly it was. We expect the areas to get busier and busier over the next couple of months, and would please ask your continued assistance in staying out of the areas when requested so that we can build it as quickly as possible for you. Hop from cellar door to farm gate to providore, before reaching your destination in Porepunkah where you can rest and relax by the Ovens River. This section continuesalong the Ovens River, and crosses Smoko Creek as it connects to the Smoko Campground. The Great Valley Trail isa new family friendly shared cycle trail between Bright and Harrietville.
